Low Wood Bay - Windermere

In a most spectacular location on the shores of England’s longest lake, Windermere, Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa is the Lake District’s first resort offering a number of facilities.

Guests have a choice of dining options including, Blue Smoke on the Bay, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, cooked over a 3 metre long woodfired grill. Newly refurbished Windermere Restaurant - The W offers a setting serving a range of classic British and continental dishes in a setting overlooking the lake with a warm bright artwork and jazz vibe.

Offering stunning views across Windermere, the Spa and outdoor thermal experience offers a range of treatments and spa days that can be enjoyed for an additional charge. Pre-bookings are essential.

The Winander Club embraces the Club experience offering exclusivity with a sense of personal service, alongsidethe amenities of the Resort on your door step. Winander Club rooms and facilities are exclusive to humans, we are sorry, pets are not permitted.

For the adventurous, the Watersports Centre offers activities such as wakesurfing, canoeing, paddle-boarding, motor boat hire, sailing and much more. A private jetty for resort guestsa waterbus trip is available toWindermere Lake Cruises on the lake.

Low Wood Bay provides car parking onsite forguests charged at £12. The resort is just 1.8 miles from Windermere Railway Station and the town centre. Ideally located for the top attractions right in the heart of the World Heritage Lake District National Park.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

A deposit of the first night per room is taken at the time of booking.
