The Ryebeck Hotel - Bowness-on-Windermere

Enjoying beautiful views of Lake Windemere, the charming Ryebeck also boasts 5 acres of gardens and grounds, individually styled rooms and an award-winning restaurant.

Spacious and bright bedrooms have been elegantly decorated and furnished. Each room features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom, with some offering a private patio or splendid lake views.

The surrounding fells and countryside provide beautiful walks, just moments from the hotel’s doorstep. Beatrix Potter’s former home, Hill Top Farm, is just a 30-minute journey over the car ferry.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:30.

Please note that a maximum of 5 rooms can be booked, different policies and additional supplements will apply.

Guests who have booked dinner on the bed, breakfast and dinner option have an allocated allowance of GBP 40 per person towards dinner. If this is exceeded, any additional costs will be added as a supplement on to your account. Please note no substitutions can be made for wine or bar drinks. Tea, coffee and pastries are not included in this allocated allowance.

Please note, guests that are staying in an additional bed in a room will also receive breakfast at the property.

Please note only food and drink purchased from the hotel may be consumed on the premises. If food or beverages are broughtthe hotel or grounds for consumption, a charge will be made equal to the hotel’s selling price for that or an equivalent product.

Please note dogs are welcome upon request only, as the property has a limited number of dog-friendly rooms. Dogs are not allowed in the Grand rooms or Superb Room with Lake View. Please note that when travelling with pets, an extra charge of GBP 25 per night applies.

Small Double. These compact rooms have a flat-screen TV and facilities for making tea and coffee, but limited views. Some rooms are located separate from the main hotel. ;
Grand Room with Lake View. These are the most spacious rooms at the property and each has a large window that overlooks Windermere. Each room has an en suite bathroom with double ended bath tub, comfortable chairs in the room for relaxing, as well as homemade biscuits and Lakeland tea. Dogs cannot be accommodated in this room type. ;
Superb Room. These larger rooms have an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower or a bath with shower over. The rooms are either located on the ground floor with direct access onto the propertys terrace area, or upstairs with views over the grounds and lake views. Please note that there is a limited number of ground-floor Superb Rooms that have a partial view of the lake and one Superb room on the first floor which has no lake view. ;
Cosy King Room. These King-size rooms come with en-suite bathroom andamenities for your comfort. Overlooking our gardens. Dogs are welcome at a surcharge in the ground floor rooms only. ;
Superior Double Room. This double room is comprised of a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a private bathroom as well as a terrace with garden views. ;
Double or Twin Room. A seating area with a flat-screen TV, a desk, a terrace and a private bathroom are available in this twindouble room. ;
Superior King Room. Featuring free toiletries, this double room includes a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The double room features a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a tea and coffee maker, a safe deposit box, a carpeted floor as well as mountain views. The unit has 1 bed. ;
Superb Family Room with Lake View. Providing free toiletries, this family room includes a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The family room provides a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a tea and coffee maker, a safe deposit box, a carpeted floor as well as mountain views. The unit offers 2 beds. ;
